Who you are
B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
4+ years as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Implementation Consultant, Support Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Software Developer with experience leading projects and/or working with customers
Hands-on knowledge of security-related products and technologies
Experience with open-source collections (Telegraf, FluentBit, FluentD, Open Telemetry)
Experience with leading and running technical validations like Proof of Value
Experience selling and working with pure SaaS solutions in multi-tenant architectures
Experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure
Understanding of technical infrastructure, modern application architecture (micro-services, containers), and monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, Elastic, New Relic)
Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as business and technical acumen
Desirables
M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Certification in AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure
Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and/or Lambda
What the job involves
Be the primary technical resource for our Enterprise Accounts team.
Share your product and technical expertise through presentations, product demonstrations, and technical evaluations.
Work with clients to understand their requirements and pain points and design the right solution for their business needs.
Guide clients through trials and POVs during the sales cycle, demonstrating Sumo Logic’s ability to meet their requirements.
Work cross-functionally with Product Management and Engineering teams to improve our business and our customers’ success.
