Role


Who you are

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Implementation Consultant, Support Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Software Developer with experience leading projects and/or working with customers
  • Hands-on knowledge of security-related products and technologies
  • Experience with open-source collections (Telegraf, FluentBit, FluentD, Open Telemetry)
  • Experience with leading and running technical validations like Proof of Value
  • Experience selling and working with pure SaaS solutions in multi-tenant architectures
  • Experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure
  • Understanding of technical infrastructure, modern application architecture (micro-services, containers), and monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, Elastic, New Relic)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as business and technical acumen

Desirables

  • M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Certification in AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure
  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and/or Lambda



What the job involves

  • Be the primary technical resource for our Enterprise Accounts team.
  • Share your product and technical expertise through presentations, product demonstrations, and technical evaluations.
  • Work with clients to understand their requirements and pain points and design the right solution for their business needs.
  • Guide clients through trials and POVs during the sales cycle, demonstrating Sumo Logic’s ability to meet their requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Management and Engineering teams to improve our business and our customers’ success.
