Who you are

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) development.
  • Proficiency in Demandware Script, ISML, pipelines, controllers, and other Salesforce Commerce Cloud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce principles, including SEO, online marketing, and customer experience optimization.
  • Proven experience leading projects and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Experience working in an agile environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud certifications are a plus.



What the job involves

  • Architect, develop and support eCommerce websites on Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.
  • Migrate clients to the latest SFCC platforms including SFRA and PWA Kit.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Architect and implement custom features and functionality tailored to the unique needs and branding of each client.
  • Develop and integrate third-party applications and APIs.
  • Optimize the performance and scalability of e-commerce sites, ensuring they can handle high traffic and provide a seamless user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing ongoing support and maintenance for client projects.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing code reviews and sharing best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
