Requirements
- 10+ years SAP Functional experience
- Strong SAP HCM Payroll configuration experience
- Experience supporting SAP ECC Payroll environments
- Excellent knowledge of UK payroll legislation and annual legislative updates
- Experience delivering end-to-end payroll processing
- Experience producing functional specifications and translating legislation into SAP solutions
- Strong understanding of RTI Payroll sequencing Payroll administration Multiple Employment and Public Sector payroll requirements
- Experience working with Local Government Education NHS or other Public Sector organisations desirable
- Excellent analytical documentation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication skills to explain complex payroll legislation clearly
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring colleagues and sharing knowledge

Day to day
- Act as the SAP UK Payroll functional expert, specialising in Public Sector payroll and legislative compliance
- Analyse annual UK payroll legislation changes and translate them into Agile user stories functional specifications and SAP configuration
- Configure SAP HCM Payroll deliver legislative updates customer change requests and support testing validation and end-to-end payroll delivery
