Remote Security Engineer Job in San Francisco Bay Juniper Square

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in a technology related field or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of IT security experience with at least 2 years as a security engineer
• Security certification (CISSP CISM or similar)
• Strong understanding of security best practices policies and procedures
• Expert knowledge and experience with SIEM MDR XDR EDR
• Extensive experience in incident response and writing custom detections
• Strong knowledge in SAAS security endpoint protection and malware analysis
• Practical application of bash and or python scripting
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks
• Experience with AWS or GCP
• Excellent written and verbal communication strong analytical problem-solving and service skills
• Ability to be on-call
