Remote Security Engineer Job in United States Juniper Square

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in tech or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of IT security experience
• 2+ years as a security engineer (beyond analyst roles)
• Security certification (CISSP, CISM, or similar)
• Strong understanding of security best practices, policies, and procedures
• Expert knowledge in SIEM, MDR, XDR, and EDR
• Extensive experience in incident response and custom detections
• Strong knowledge in SAAS security, endpoint protection, and malware analysis
• Practical applications of bash or python scripting
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks
• Knowledge and experience with AWS or GCP
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Service and resolution skills
• Ability to be on-call
