Requirements

  • 5-8+ years in Application Security or Security Engineering
  • Strong ability to read code identify architectural flaws and write fixes
  • Experience managing technical debt and safely updating dependencies
  • Excellent written communication and collaboration with developers
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures containers CI/CD and SAST DAST SCA
  • Exposure to OWASP and application security fundamentals
  • Experience with network configuration and application deployment preferred

Day to day

  • Actively identify and remediate security vulnerabilities across codebases and systems.
  • Patch outdated libraries and refactor legacy components to modernize and secure the platform.
  • Partner with engineering teams to debug issues, remove blockers, and embed secure development practices.
  • Write clear security playbooks, standards, and remediation guidance to support consistent fixes.
  • Implement security scanning, cloud protections, and incident response automation within the SDLC.
