Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science Information Technology or related field
- 3-4 years of experience in IT Security or related role
- Sec+ SSCP CHFI ECIH Certifications
- Working Knowledge and experience in a variety of toolset such as EDR/XDR SIEM IDS/IPS Endpoint solutions Vulnerability Management DLP Cloud Computing (Azure AWS GCP) and Incident Response
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work in a team environment but also self-motivated to produce results with minimal direction
- Ability to form working relationships with groups of people from varied backgrounds experience and education levels
Day to day
- Manage user accounts and access controls, ensuring access is granted based on the principle of least privilege and conducting regular reviews to update permissions
- Coordinate with other members of the security team to ensure that security measures are integrated into the overall security posture of the organization
- Assist in maintaining documentation related to security policies, procedures and incident response, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in security-related projects, such as implementing new security tools or upgrading existing infrastructure, under the guidance of senior team members
- Configure and maintain security-related software such as anti-malware software, host intrusion prevention systems, and data loss prevention tools, following established protocols and best practices
