Requirements

  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or high-growth startup environments
  • Strong command of U.S. GAAP with the ability to research and document technical accounting conclusions
  • Experience owning month-end close components including journal entries reconciliations and flux analysis
  • Systems fluency with modern GL platforms and advanced Excel; SQL is a plus
  • Fluency with AI tools to automate and improve finance work
  • Process-improvement mindset with comfort in early-stage ambiguity
  • CPA or active CPA candidate preferred

Day to day

  • Own key areas of the month-end quarter-end and year-end close with accuracy and urgency
  • Prepare complex journal entries account reconciliations and supporting schedules for timely GAAP-aligned reporting
  • Analyze balance sheet and income statement activity and explain fluxes period-over-period
  • Prepare monthly reporting packages and partner across teams to improve controls processes and automation
  • Support external audit and tax workstreams while driving special projects from identification through implementation
