Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience including production systems
- Experience building production LLM systems with tool-using or multi-step agentic workflows
- Strong understanding of LLM behavior limitations and failure modes
- Experience with LLM APIs tool and function calling and planning and execution loops
- Experience evaluating and debugging non-deterministic systems
- Solid backend and cloud experience on AWS or equivalent
- Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python
Nice to have
- Regulated systems experience
- Evaluation pipeline experience
- Retrieval grounding experience
- Workflow platform experience
- IaC experience
Day to day
- Design and build the agent runtime with planning loops tool calling state management durable execution and failure recovery
- Create production agents that ground decisions in authoritative enterprise data and support human review approval and override capture
- Build evaluation guardrails observability and regression testing to keep multi-step agent behavior reliable secure and measurable
- Integrate agents with platform APIs and external enterprise systems while maintaining permission-aware traceable controlled execution
- Own backend services and contribute to architecture infrastructure and deployment pipelines on AWS
