Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering or data engineering
- 3+ years building AI/ML-driven products
- Strong Python programming skills
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with modern AI frameworks such as HuggingFace or LangChain
- Experience designing data pipelines with Airflow Dagster or equivalent
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure such as AWS GCP or Azure
- Experience applying LLMs and generative AI in production including prompt engineering RAG and deployment
- Strong grasp of data science and machine learning techniques
- Ability to balance research and engineering tradeoffs
- Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into data solutions
- Track record of shipping user-facing features with measurable impact
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across data engineering and product teams

Day to day
- Research and apply modern AI methods including agents LLMs RAG embeddings and machine learning to create new product capabilities
- Translate business problems into practical AI solutions that improve user workflows accelerate insights and deliver measurable value
- Own agentic chat architecture across the platform designing systems that let AI agents reason take action and surface insights at scale
- Build reliable multi-tenant AI infrastructure with strong observability evaluation and guardrails for production use
- Collaborate closely with product data science and engineering teams to shape the AI roadmap and drive product differentiation
