Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience with a focus on ML operations and infrastructure
- Strong Python proficiency and familiarity with Go or JavaScript is a plus
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines infrastructure as code and containerization for ML workloads
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud ML platforms especially SageMaker Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore
- Proven experience operationalizing LLMs and building agentic application infrastructure
- Familiarity with ML frameworks such as Scikit-Learn PyTorch Spark and TensorFlow
- Working knowledge of continuous retraining concept drift monitoring and data drift detection
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience mentoring others and contributing to team practices standards or tooling

Day to day
- Build and scale machine learning infrastructure that powers reliable AI systems at Expel
- Architect and maintain end-to-end training pipelines on AWS using SageMaker EKS and Step Functions
- Develop production infrastructure for agentic applications with Bedrock and Bedrock AgentCore including runtimes memory gateways and observability
- Improve ML platform quality reliability and scalability while contributing to MLOps tooling and governance practices
- Collaborate closely with data scientists engineers and stakeholders and mentor junior team members
