Remote Senior Animator Job in Eugene, OR Pipeworks Studios

Who you are

• Experience with Maya or similar tools
• Unreal animation experience
• Ability to create strong 2D and 3D animations in-engine
• Ability to work from concepts storyboards or reference videos
• Understanding of traditional animation techniques
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to keep an organized and consistent schedule
• Provide accurate time estimates for project planning
• Understanding of bug fixing and investigation

Desirables

• Storyboarding experience
• 2D animation experience
• Motion graphic experience
• Experience with Unity

What the job involves

• Create animations for various projects and styles from cartoony to realistic across console PC and mobile platforms
• Research and test approaches for each platform to hit the highest quality
• Develop and implement project requirements by collaborating with Project Art Director and Art Lead
• Work with Character Artists and Technical Artists to ensure character design and motion requirements align
• Make impactful animations enhancing the game's quality
• Utilize relevant animation techniques
• Work both independently and as part of a team
• Solve project and team issues effectively
