Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5-7+ years in full stack or backend roles
- Professional experience with Go
- Experience designing developing debugging and deploying high performance client/server systems
- Comfort with relational and non-relational databases
- Familiarity with messaging systems and when to use them
- Comfort with cloud infrastructure providers and modern CI/CD
- Knowledge of security and testing best practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Day to day
- Design and implement client-facing and internal APIs for critical backend services
- Orchestrate data flows between backend systems to support financial and underwriting operations
- Create database schemas and build automated test suites for high-performance mission-critical applications
- Lead substantial product features end-to-end and integrate third-party services and tools
- Mentor mid-level and junior engineers while helping improve architecture and observability
