Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Strong computer science background and networking knowledge
  • Proficiency in Python and backend development patterns
  • Experience designing developing and maintaining highload real-time services and public APIs
  • Experience with NoSQL and relational databases distributed systems and caching solutions is a plus
  • Experience with a compiled language such as Go or Rust is a plus
  • Experience writing unit and integration tests for backend services using Pytest unittest or equivalent
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent English communication skills

Day to day

  • Design and build scalable backend services that deliver enriched items metadata and attributes to end users.
  • Develop and maintain Attribute Enrichment and Badges services with a focus on performance reliability and low latency.
  • Collaborate with ML engineers and cross-functional teams to improve APIs databases observability and CI/CD systems.
