Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of production web application experience
- Expert at modern web application development and relational databases
- Writing clean well-tested and modular code
- Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures
Nice to have
- High-traffic web experience
- Ruby on Rails experience
- Docker knowledge
- AWS familiarity
Day to day
- Design and maintain production backend services that operate reliably at scale
- Debug issues across multiple services and layers of the stack to improve user experience
- Lead architecture discussions build integrations and architect real time data syncing systems
- Mentor engineers and help strengthen engineering standards tooling and processes
