Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience knowledge
- 5+ years demonstrated experience in backend development building API endpoints and building scalable backend systems
- Experience designing APIs and building endpoints and backend systems in Python
- Experience working with different programming languages like Go Java Kotlin Scala etc
- Experience creating libraries and tools for engineers and operations
- Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases
- Experience with OLAP datastore technologies such as Apache Pinot
- Familiarity with software engineering development lifecycles
- Entrepreneurial mindset: you prioritize tasks with an eye for evolving business needs and can problem solve independently
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment

Day to day
- Design and build strong resilient and robust APIs libraries and tools to power healthcare pricing products
- Be responsible for full software development lifecycle: design development testing and operating in production
- Work cross-functionally with Product and subject matter experts to conceptualize prototype and build API endpoints
- Draft internal and external technical documentation
- Seek and prioritize technical and product feedback from internal customers
- Iterate quickly with an eye towards value
