Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience with modern languages such as Golang Java Python Ruby or C#
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and backend services
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and inter-service communication such as protobufs gRPC ReST Kafka or Redis
- Experience working with relational databases and SQL
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and take responsibility for production systems

Day to day
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Golang microservices
- Drive technical architecture and improve long-term system health by anticipating scaling and maintenance needs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, frontend, and global engineering teammates to deliver high-impact features and resilient systems
- Own code quality reliability and observability from development through production and help plan projects from inception to delivery
- Participate in on-call rotation mentor junior engineers and strengthen operational excellence through monitoring alerting and incident response
