Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong backend focus
- Experience designing and building large-scale production-grade systems
- Proficiency in Go or ability to learn new languages quickly
- Practical or conceptual understanding of Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform
- Strong knowledge of system architecture and design patterns including microservices and distributed systems
- Understanding of cloud networking concepts including VPCs service connectivity access control and secure communication
- Demonstrated ability to optimize systems for performance scalability and reliability
- Strong collaboration skills in distributed cross-functional teams
- Enthusiasm for mentoring and coaching engineers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- 2+ years of technical lead experience

Day to day
- Design and build scalable backend services for an application analytics platform using Go, GraphQL, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with product, data, and engineering partners to deliver high-performance systems that are reliable in modern cloud environments.
- Mentor junior engineers, improve processes, and help guide technical planning while staying hands-on with coding, testing, deployment, and optimization.
