  • Ability to evaluate multiple solutions for a problem and choose the most appropriate.

Day to day

  • Create API solutions for internal and external web services.
  • Write well-tested code through test-driven development.
  • Build performant and highly reliable services for managing and transferring large data volumes.
  • Collaborate with frontend and quality engineers to spec write test and deploy code.
  • Brainstorm features with product managers designers and scientists.
  • Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards.
