Remote Senior Cloud Development Engineer Job in Cambridge, MA Pegasystems

Who you are

• You understand DevOps culture and consider yourself to be technically versatile
• You bring good practices around design patterns to support Pega Cloud with 'as-a-Service' evolution
• You have experience in maintaining and creating Cloudformation Templates Libraries and Terraform Modules
• You are skilled in Linux and Unix systems as well as Scripting and Automation
• Strong understanding and experience in Cloud technologies across multiple providers and ideally AWS Associate Developer or equivalent GCP knowledge
• Hands-on AWS experience with GCP as a plus
• Proficiency in Golang and Python
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Helm Terraform or Cloudformation
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes with CKAD certification as a plus
• Ability to problem solve troubleshoot and debug the Linux development stack including Linux Tomcat and PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins pipeline automation and testing frameworks around CI/CD pipelines
• Relevant knowledge in FedRAMP for security scans audit reviews and fixes a plus
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science and 4+ years of relevant experience
• US Citizenship due to Government Support/FedRAMP requirements

• Build highly-available, scalable cloud-native systems using Golang and Python
• Infrastructure hosting and orchestration
• Design and development of CI/CD Pipelines Integrations and testing
• Leverage DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines to enable automated operations of our services
• Work as part of a collaborative agile team
• Maintain and build FEDRamp compliant services inside AWS
• Assist our operations team with sophisticated operations along the entire service lifecycle
