Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Mathematics or related technical field
- Significant hands-on experience in computer vision and machine learning including model design training evaluation and deployment in production
- Proven track record of building end-to-end CV and ML systems from 0 to 1 ideally commercial products
- Strong expertise with video-based pipelines and human action or behavior recognition
- Solid software engineering skills in Python and modern ML or CV frameworks
- Experience working with real-world noisy data
- Ability to work in a dynamic high-uncertainty environment and iterate quickly
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical topics clearly in English

Day to day
- Lead technical discovery and early development for a new retail computer vision product
- Define, run, and prioritize experiments to validate precision recall and latency risks in production-like conditions
- Design end-to-end CV and ML pipelines for video data including ingestion preprocessing training evaluation and deployment
- Build and refine human annotation workflows and select optimize state-of-the-art action recognition models for complex retail environments
