Who you are
At least 5 years of content design experience, with at least 3 years designing content for direct-to-consumer products
Worked on language for products that has driven quantifiable metrics such as conversions and revenue per user
Experience working autonomously in a fast-paced environment and juggling multiple projects every sprint
Experience with writing both functional and emotional language to drive clarity, motivation
Experience writing for complex products (especially in financial services) strongly preferred
Experience working with design tools such as Figma

What the job involves
Lead content design for several product teams, partnering with PM, UX Design, and Research leads from conception to launch
Conduct content discovery, user conversations, inventories, audits, and competitive research to understand customer needs
Design, write, edit, and test clear, compelling in-product language across landing pages, onboarding flows, checkout processes, and post-purchase experiences
Ensure consistency in tone and voice across consumer touchpoints, collaborating closely with UX design on information hierarchy
Use analytics, customer success data, and testing methods to evaluate and improve content
Create and evolve Ethos' standards, guidelines, methods, tools, and product review sessions.
