Requirements
- 4+ years relevant work experience with a relevant PhD or 6+ years with a relevant Masters
- Proven track record of solving complex or high profile business problems with DS or ML solutions
- Strong end to end data science development skills, including planning metrics solution design and delivery
- Strong practical ML and stats knowledge with ability to scope and apply standard tools quickly
- Experience communicating outcomes and progress to senior management and stakeholders
- Experience writing production code and tests
- Interest in developing deep domain expertise for product focused work
- Detail oriented and thoughtful with sound business judgment
- Experience working at a startup strongly preferred
- Legally authorized to work in the United States and live in the United States

Day to day
- Develop and maintain fraud detection models across the full model development lifecycle, from data acquisition through monitoring
- Research new fraud patterns and build new identity verification and financial risk products with cross-functional teams
- Write production-ready code and perform high-impact analyses that guide product, risk, marketing, and sales decisions
