Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant experience with product and engineering teams
- Mastery of design tools such as Figma Sketch or Rive
- Mastery of frontend programming in React and vanilla HTML CSS JS
- A portfolio showing work you directly designed and developed
- Proven ability to thrive in remote teams
- Ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear elegant solutions
- Strong attention to user feedback and product quality
- Ability to explain work process and decisions and seek feedback
- Ability to surface pivotal decisions and coordinate proactively
Nice to have
- Privacy-tech experience
- Startup experience
- Personal interest in digital privacy
Day to day
- Design new features and experiences for Obscura VPN
- Write robust and maintainable frontend code and help build polished product experiences
- Drive product initiatives from ideation through design and implementation while collaborating with the founder marketing and engineering teams
- Manage and prioritize work across multiple projects and shape the product roadmap
- Consider copy animation and business impact when crafting intuitive accessible experiences
