Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience shipping production systems
- Strong expertise in Node.js with modern JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals
- Experience with Go is strongly valued
- Strong network protocol analysis skills including traffic captures and undocumented protocols
- Proficiency with relational databases
- Solid command of Unix/Linux environments including systems-level debugging and performance analysis
- Working proficiency with Docker and containerized workflows
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP TLS HTTP common auth schemes and embedded or industrial protocols
- Experience using AI coding tools effectively with sound judgment
- Good communication and collaboration skills in a remote-first environment
- Experience applying cybersecurity best practices and secure coding
- Bonus experience with ICS OT environments embedded systems or xIoT device security

Day to day
- Design and ship production software that identifies fingerprints and interacts with network-connected devices across embedded IoT and OT/ICS endpoints.
- Investigate how devices communicate using captures vendor documentation and hands-on experimentation then translate findings into reliable automated product capabilities.
- Build and maintain shared frameworks services tests and tooling while troubleshooting complex protocol-level production issues and collaborating across security product and customer teams.
