- Senior-level production infrastructure experience
- Deep hands-on Linux server administration at the command line
- Experience with DigitalOcean Linode AWS EC2 or similar hosting
- Senior database operations including MySQL migration replication backups and restore testing
- Strong Cloudflare knowledge across DNS WAF CDN caching Workers Pages and Zero Trust
- PHP Laravel environment experience and managed runtime familiarity
- Datadog or comparable observability platform experience
- Infrastructure-as-code experience such as Terraform Pulumi AWS CDK Serverless Framework or CloudFormation
- CI/CD pipeline and deployment automation experience
- Practical AWS experience with Lambda IAM VPC CloudWatch S3 SSM Secrets Manager and queues
- Strong production safety access control secrets backup and incident response judgment
- Willingness to carry real on-call responsibility outside normal business hours
- Habit of documenting work and creating usable runbooks
- Practical experience using AI tools with human verification
- Ability to work independently in a small remote engineering organization

Day to day
- Stabilize and modernize production infrastructure across DigitalOcean AWS Cloudflare and related platforms.
- Administer Linux-based servers improve reliability and migrate manual workflows into repeatable automated infrastructure-as-code pipelines.
- Build inventories runbooks monitoring alerting backup validation and disaster-recovery procedures while reducing operational risk and bus-factor dependency.
