Remote Senior DevOps Engineer Job in UK Admiral Group Plc

Who you are

• Experience using CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins/Azure/Github Actions
• Experience in automation scripting
• Experience working with Azure
• Experience working with AKS and APIM
• Experience managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Development background with experience using Git
• Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and practices.

Desirables

• Azure DevOps experience with YAML pipelines
• Terraform Azure deployments using AzureRM and Azure AD providers
• Experience developing and managing solutions using AKS
• Experience of Azure Monitor
• Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
• Understanding of cost and budget requirements for Azure
• Understanding of network concepts.

What the job involves

• Working in the component platform engineering team responsible for provisioning and maintaining the platform.
• Supporting software engineers by automating all aspects of the SDLC through CI/CD.
• Contributing to the delivery of the DevOps and Cloud capability’s strategy.
• Improving, supporting, and maintaining existing solutions and identifying/remediating technical debt.
