Requirements
- 5+ years in platform infrastructure DevOps or SRE roles
- Recent senior IC experience owning production systems end to end
- Hands-on experience running production infrastructure on AWS
- Production experience operating container orchestrated workloads
- Experience operating managed relational databases in production
- Solid grasp of VPCs subnets routing and DNS
- Proficiency writing infrastructure as code and automation
- Experience with AWS CDK in JavaScript or TypeScript preferred
- Experience with GitHub Actions distributed messaging caching or search preferred
- Ability to ramp quickly on unfamiliar systems
- Strong ownership mindset and sound judgment
- Ability to communicate risks decisions and trade-offs clearly
- Ability to document systems and share knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

Day to day
- Own and evolve the AWS platform that powers Tenna's construction equipment tracking system, with a strong focus on reliability, observability, and cost efficiency.
- Lead production operations end to end, including incident response, root cause analysis, runbooks, postmortems, and safeguards that prevent repeat failures.
- Build infrastructure as code, improve CI/CD pipelines, and extend platform tooling so engineers can deploy faster and with greater confidence.
