  • 10+ years of application development leadership experience
  • 5+ years with distributed architectural frameworks and SDLC approaches like agile
  • Experience with GraphQL Node.js Typescript Java NoSQL Spring Boot Kafka Docker K8s and cloud
  • Experience defining and executing enterprise GraphQL platform strategy and roadmap
  • Experience leading design build and operation of GraphQL runtime and federation layer
  • Experience owning enterprise GraphQL platform vision execution and technical strategy
  • Experience embedding security compliance and cost controls into the platform
  • Experience driving reliability performance observability and real-time analytics as platform capabilities
  • Experience with DevOps CI/CD logging metrics monitoring tracing service mesh LTM and GTM
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native solutions microservices architecture and API orchestration
  • 5+ years leading technically complex solutions for business and consumer audiences
  • Experience with multiple public cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
  • Experience designing and implementing cloud native solutions
  • Strong understanding of API platforms back-end services databases and networking components
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent

Day to day

  • Provides application development leadership for key technology initiatives driving Marriott’s GraphQL Platform strategy in a fast-paced mission-critical environment.
  • Builds and advances the enterprise platform in alignment with core business objectives and architecture principles, while fostering innovation and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborates with technology leaders and business partners to promote agile practices and continuous improvement across technical project management, software engineering, and testing automation.
  • Manages platform reliability performance observability and security controls to support scalable adoption of Marriott’s API platform.
