Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of embedded firmware experience
- Expert-level C/C++ for embedded systems
- Experience with RTOS environments such as ThreadX Zephyr or similar
- Strong knowledge of secure firmware design and cryptographic systems
- Experience integrating RFID BLE OSDP and related access control technologies
- Experience with STM32 microcontrollers or similar embedded architectures
- Hands-on expertise with oscilloscopes logic analyzers and protocol analyzers
Nice to have
- Master’s degree
- 7+ years experience
- RTOS expertise
Day to day
- Lead embedded firmware architecture design and development for access control reader platforms
- Build and maintain internal firmware ownership including source control development workflows and scalable build environments
- Collaborate with hardware software and cross-functional teams to define requirements support NPI and align solutions with security compliance and governance standards
- Manage external firmware partners while driving the transition to in-house development capabilities
