Requirements
- 7+ years of embedded engineering experience
- Deep C development on resource-constrained MCUs running an RTOS
- Experience with BLE Bluetooth Wifi SPI I2C I2S and LEDs
- Familiarity with Jira Git Github GDB Make Cmake Python schematics part selection and datasheets
- Track record delivering high quality consumer products in cost schedule and MCU constrained environments
- Experience improving production firmware structure testability and maintainability without regressions
- Ability to write automated tests and processes and explain appropriate use
- Strong judgement humility collaboration and clear communication
- Ability to learn unfamiliar tech quickly and work pragmatically

Day to day
- Develop firmware for family baby and adult sleep devices using ESP-IDF and FreeRTOS
- Build new features and fix issues in microcontroller code that powers devices used in real homes
- Collaborate across mobile backend product QA and other teams to ship reliable embedded solutions
- Improve observability testability maintainability and developer experience across the firmware stack
