Requirements
- 7+ years leading building and developing top performing software development teams
- Experience delivering software within a mobile development environment
- Experience building and operating high-availability distributed backend systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage platform migrations or large-scale refactors without disrupting dependent teams
- Track record of building or improving observability stacks and using data to drive engineering decisions
- Track record of technical and functional stakeholder management
- Experience building and executing cross-functional roadmaps OKRs and milestones
- BS degree or higher in Computer Science Computer Engineering or other STEM major or equivalent experience

Day to day
- Lead and grow a high-performing Core Platform engineering team that delivers shared capabilities across consumer and business products.
- Drive platform strategy and roadmap decisions for authentication payments entitlements and shared services.
- Partner with engineering product Cloud/Ops Security and principal engineers to evaluate architecture build-vs-buy tradeoffs and improve reliability compliance and operational performance.
- Quantify platform impact reduce maintenance overhead and accelerate delivery across multiple product teams.
