Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience
- 5+ years of people management experience leading engineering teams
- Experience delivering production software in complex fast-paced FinTech or regulated environments
- Experience leading large-scale content management systems and headless architectures
- Experience leading large-scale backend systems
- Strong understanding of SDLC agile methodologies and modern engineering practices
- Experience designing and building scalable reliable and secure systems
- Proficiency in either PHP or Python GraphQL SQL and TypeScript
- Working knowledge of security best practices data privacy and compliance in financial systems
- Ability to coach mentor and support engineers through actionable feedback
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical partners
- Experience balancing delivery commitments with technical quality and maintainability
- Experience developing scalable web applications with SEO in mind
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage and deliver complex engineering projects at scale and on time

Day to day
- Lead and coach an engineering team responsible for foundational platform systems, including the Content Platform CMS and Product Data Platform.
- Drive modernization through AI-assisted development practices automation and operational tooling to improve developer productivity and engineering quality.
- Partner with Product and cross-functional stakeholders to plan prioritize and execute roadmap work while balancing reliability security and long-term maintainability.
