Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a US DoD Secret clearance
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science software engineering or related field
  • 4+ years of relevant front-end development experience
  • Experience with React or Angular
  • Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and either Java or Python
  • Experience with WebSockets and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with UX/UI design and HCI
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience with Next or Vue
  • Ability to travel up to approximately 20% of the time

Day to day

  • Design and implement rich, interactive front-end interfaces for visualizing vector fields heat maps and trajectory simulations
  • Develop full-stack features deployed through modern CI/CD pipelines and integrate with secure cloud environments
  • Collaborate with oceanographers naval architects and other domain experts to translate scientific models into intuitive UI controls and actionable visual analytics
