Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional front-end development experience
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript
  • Deep experience with React and modern React patterns including hooks context and memoization
  • Production experience with Chakra UI or similar component libraries
  • Hands-on experience with Mapbox including layers sources interactions and performance tuning
  • Experience building data visualizations using Plotly and/or ApexCharts
  • Solid understanding of HTML CSS responsive design and accessibility WCAG
  • Experience consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs
  • Strong debugging performance optimization and problem-solving skills

Day to day

  • Design and build rich, interactive front-end applications using React and modern UI patterns
  • Create accessible and responsive interfaces with Chakra UI for data-heavy products
  • Develop map-based and data visualization experiences with Mapbox GL JS Plotly and ApexCharts
  • Optimize performance for large datasets real-time updates and cross-browser compatibility
  • Collaborate with product designers backend engineers and technical leaders to deliver features and improve front-end architecture
