Requirements
- 6+ years of front-end development experience with React or similar frameworks
- Strong TypeScript experience including advanced concepts
- Experience with React Native and Expo
- Solid understanding of the React ecosystem including state management component reuse and performance
- Strong experience with REST APIs and server state management in React especially react-query
- Experience with CSS and modern styling in JavaScript frameworks
- Experience managing a reusable component library across multiple codebases
- Comfortable managing pull requests code reviews git management and versioning

Day to day
- Lead front-end feature development within small cross-functional pods, partnering closely with product owners and designers to iterate quickly on requirements and acceptance criteria
- Evolve and maintain the product using React and TypeScript while driving the TypeScript initiative toward full type coverage
- Develop and maintain a React Native Expo in-cab application used daily by drivers, while creating reusable components and curating Storybook documentation for the shared component library
- Assist with solutioning and architecture for large front-end stories, improve tools and approaches, and grow team knowledge through technical documentation and setup guides
