Responsibilities

SteadyIQ is seeking a sharp, highly-motivated front end web software developer who is excited to play a major role in our product and engineering evolution. We are looking for a product focused, results-oriented engineer who thrives in a collaborative, team-focused culture. You will work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and your team to help define, implement, and ship significant increments to SteadyIQ’s mission-driven product offering.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will …

Work across all phases of the software development lifecycle in a cross-functional, agile development teamCollaborate with product, engineering, and design/UX stakeholders as well as your team to help define, design, scope, implement, and ship features and projectsWork with designers to create layouts & user interfaces utilizing HTML/CSS best practicesBuild fast, intuitive, responsive, and secure web sites and applicationsProvide input on UX design & user interactionsDeliver high-quality, well-tested technical solutionsHelp define, implement, and reinforce development best practices and processesContribute to SteadyIQ’s technical vision

Skills & Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience as a full-time frontend or fullstack developer Experience or working familiarity with the following tech stack: JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or VueTypescriptfp-ts or other functional programming languages like Haskell, Scala, or ElmRESTful APIsCSS pre-processing platforms, such as SCSS & LESS Style libraries like Chakra UIState management frameworks like ReduxReact-router in a SPA environmentLingui for i18nNice-to-haves include experience withWeb accessibility concepts and standardsTest-driven development and writing testable codeSystem design and architecture experienceAbility to write and refactor code with an eye toward reducing complexity, separation of concerns, proper encapsulation, etcStrong background in functional programming conceptsProven track record developing high-quality, responsive user experiencesExperience working in an agile development environmentAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentAbility to work well in teams of all sizes with representatives from a diverse set of technical backgrounds. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Total Compensation Package

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $165,000. This position is eligible for equity. We offer a 100% company-paid benefits package for employees and their families, including medical, dental, and vision. We also offer unlimited time off and future growth opportunities within the company. We strive to maintain a positive and fun environment for our employees where people can learn and grow with the company. This compensation and benefits information is based on employer’s good faith estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future at the discretion of the company. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include relevant prior experience and/or education, or particular skills and experience.
