Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience
- 4+ years of TypeScript and React experience
- 4+ years of server-side development in Java and/or Kotlin
- Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related studies
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals including big-O data structures and algorithms
- Excellent knowledge of TypeScript JavaScript CSS3 HTML5 and Java/Kotlin
- Experience building complex user interfaces
- Good sense of usability
- Skills in API design
- Experience with highly scalable distributed systems
- Experience with Kubernetes and AWS
- Experience with SQL and database performance
- Experience with NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB or AWS DynamoDB
- Experience with performance optimization
- Upper-intermediate spoken and written English
- Ability to clearly explain technical decisions
- Strong soft skills in multicultural environments
- Ability to work autonomously and remotely
- Ability to learn quickly and communicate on unfamiliar topics
- Ability to collaborate on technical specifications

Day to day
- Develop flagship Jira Cloud products across frontend and backend with a strong focus on maintainable code
- Collaborate closely with product managers designers developers QA engineers and technical writers to deliver polished solutions
- Write unit tests and sometimes integration and performance tests while improving usability security and performance
