Who you are

• Minimum 5-8 years professional software development experience with 2+ years in Typescript (Node.js)
• Experienced in engineering SaaS products on a cloud platform (2+ years)
• Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus
• Based in EST time zone (or CST and open to early morning hours)
• Independent, communicative, driven by technology
• Motivated problem solver with a can-do attitude
• Passionate about clean code, testing, and business impact through technology
• A true team player with great communication skills
• Experience in e-commerce and/or payments is optional

What the job involves

• Design and implement microservices in Typescript using Node.js backed by MongoDB and other NoSQL datastores in an AWS environment.
• Implement experience with modern SDLC including Agile methodologies.
• Build systems that scale and are flexible to accommodate evolving business strategies.

• Homework Assignment: We will send over an exercise that challenges you to solve a problem & come up with a creative solution, or outline how you've solved a problem in the past. Get a feel for what you'll be doing on a daily basis!
