Requirements
- 5+ years experience in engineering within a startup environment
- Comfort with individual components and collaboration on larger components
- Experience with Python, Go, Typescript, React, Next.js, Flutter, Postgres, dbt, BigQuery, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to transform obstacles into challenges and provide clarity to your team

Day to day
- Design, develop, and implement new product features for internal teams and pet parents
- Evaluate technical feasibility by analyzing situations, insights, problem definitions, requirements, and proposed solutions
- Document solutions through detailed documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and clear code
- Collaborate with operations and product teams to address technical issues
- Support and develop software engineers through advice, coaching, and educational opportunities
