Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience with Laravel
  • Experience working across a mixed frontend stack including Tailwind Alpine.js Bootstrap and jQuery
  • Strong JavaScript fundamentals
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and API design
  • Experience with authentication integrations such as OAuth2 SSO or SAML
  • Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Copilot or similar in day-to-day development
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with non-engineering stakeholders

Day to day

  • Build and maintain the platforms that deliver data products to clients across a Laravel-based backend and mixed frontend stack
  • Lead product enhancement design and development from requirements through to deployment
  • Collaborate with product and data teams to shape robust technical solutions while maintaining quality security and maintainability
  • Support CI/CD testing and deployment practices and mentor other engineers in a collaborative environment
