Requirements
- Experience standing up QA functions or frameworks in early-stage teams at senior or lead level
- Fluency with AI-assisted development and testing approaches
- Ability to prioritise testing pragmatically balancing risk versus velocity
- Fluency in QA tooling and frameworks such as Playwright Pytest or Cypress
- Comfortable working across backend APIs front-end UIs and async jobs
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions
- Clear communicator who collaborates well with engineers and product leads

Day to day
- Own the QA strategy end-to-end from risk triage to automation implementation
- Design and implement a scalable QA process for a small fast-moving team
- Set the quality bar for safe production releases and automate integration E2E and regression testing across Django and NextJS
- Apply AI to QA through test case generation diffing log analysis and other innovative methods
- Collaborate closely with product engineers and prototypers to balance speed with safety
