Requirements

- Proven experience managing managers
- Strong record of leading teams in hiring performance delivery and growth
- Ability to manage both leaders and engineers directly
- Multi-team coordination and dependency management experience
- Demonstrated partnership with Product and Design at multi-team scope
- Comfort leading through cross-team crises and escalations
- Experience driving engineering practice change across multiple teams

Day to day
- Lead multiple engineering teams and manage other managers or team leads while continuing to directly manage engineers where scope requires it
- Align business, customer, OKR, and KPI goals across teams and partner closely with Product Design and Product Management to keep priorities coherent
- Drive AI-native transformation, strengthen delivery, quality, reliability, and reduce single points of failure across the area
- Coach leaders and engineers to grow into stronger roles while improving cross-team execution and handling major incidents or escalations
