Requirements
- 5-10 years’ experience in the telecommunications/ IT/ Tech industry with preference given to experience in the areas of product management and application project management – ideally where 3rd party components are used or resold
- Experience with workflow automation and API production and consumption
- Experience in working and collaborating with software engineering teams
- Ability to work comfortably in a matrix management environment
- Ability to think “out-of-the-box”
- Ability to independently manage a wide spectrum of activities tasks and projects
- Ability to effectively manage project schedules and changing terms and conditions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- University degree or equivalent work experience
Day to day
- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for new services and service enhancements based on self-service resale of vendors partners services/products
- Drive “the whole product” through collaboration with marketing sales delivery operations support and vendor management teams
- Develop and implement methods to capture and measure demand for new services and service enhancements from customers and identify opportunities for innovation
- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap and workflows to onboard vendors to supply underlying service components using automated (API-based) methods for quoting ordering etc.
- Serve as the overall lifecycle manager for these Console Connect services/products
- Understand current manual operational workflows and engage with delivery and operations teams and other stakeholders to enable smooth transition to and continuous improvement of automated workflows
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop an in-depth understanding of the automation capabilities of key vendors mapping out a plan of progression
- Participate in the Third Party Capital ART to define the scope and specific requirements of automated engagement with third party vendors
- Support the VP Vendor Management in other automation and development initiatives as requested
