Requirements
- 8+ years of professional C#/.NET experience
- Led or anchored a .NET Framework to modern .NET migration of a large production monolith
- Experience migrating production systems incrementally with minimal downtime
- Deep NHibernate experience preferred
- Experience replacing legacy dependencies in production
- Hands-on with ASP.NET MVC to Core routing and custom security frameworks
- Familiarity with SSRS report migration is a benefit
- Experience improving CI/CD pipelines for .NET applications
- Comfortable working in a small core team with shared support functions
- VB.NET familiarity is a bonus

Day to day
- Lead the incremental migration of a mature VB.NET and .NET Framework backend to C# and .NET 10 while keeping the live production system stable.
- Modernize a complex custom security framework and replace legacy dependencies without introducing authorization issues or functional regressions.
- Strengthen CI/CD pipelines and work closely with quality engineering to ship migrated components independently and safely.
