Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
  • Eight plus years of software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in .NET and other programming languages such as Java Python JavaScript or C#
  • Experience with X.12 Medical Claims Processing such as 835 837 277 and 275
  • Experience with back-end development and modern frameworks
  • Proficiency in database management including SQL RBS MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
  • Strong knowledge of AWS and or MS Azure cloud platforms and containerization such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience in RESTful API development microservices architecture and distributed systems
  • Strong working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
  • Experience with software configuration management tools such as Git Subversion and Jira
  • Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework environment and Agile development teams
  • Must be able to create logical and functional software code using .NET and Python as primary languages
  • Must have experience understanding and articulating coding language benefits and risks in different functional environments
  • Must have experience reacting to problems and correcting the program as necessary
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable maintainable and high-performance software solutions

Day to day

  • Design, develop and maintain scalable software applications with a strong focus on performance and quality
  • Collaborate with architects product managers and developers to define technical requirements system design and implementation plans
  • Write clean efficient well documented code review code from peers and mentor junior developers while supporting Agile delivery
  • Develop RESTful APIs microservices and cloud based solutions and help improve CI/CD automation and deployment reliability
