Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related technical discipline
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Expert-level hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core / modern .NET
- Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Experience developing and operating applications in AWS, preferably AWS GovCloud
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
- Experience with Kubernetes management platforms such as Rancher
- Experience with RabbitMQ and AWS SQS or similar messaging technologies
- Strong relational database experience with PostgreSQL including design optimization and troubleshooting
- Experience with AWS RDS or comparable managed relational database services
- Strong understanding of distributed systems high availability scalability resiliency and performance
- Experience supporting high-volume production systems and diagnosing complex issues across application database messaging container and infrastructure layers
- Demonstrated ability to take technical ownership of a substantial codebase
- Experience performing code reviews and providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Experience with AI-assisted development and code-generation tools
- Experience with SonarQube or similar static code analysis platforms
- Experience with Azure DevOps repositories source control CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
- Strong understanding of secure software development practices for enterprise and Federal environments
- Ability and willingness to provide occasional after-hours support

Day to day
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain cloud-native microservices and REST APIs in a high-availability enterprise application
- Take technical ownership of a large production codebase and provide hands-on leadership across development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
- Work closely with technical leads, operations teams, and stakeholders to support secure, scalable, resilient, and maintainable solutions
