Requirements
- UK based with right to work in the UK
- Proven legacy decommissioning experience
- Comfort with undocumented and unstructured codebases
- Strong core PHP mastery including legacy versions
- Experience with server side architecture and API integration decoupling
- Ability to map business logic and dependencies
Day to day
- Audit and map legacy PHP applications to uncover business logic database dependencies and external integrations
- Safely decouple and decommission legacy modules while protecting live business operations
- Create clear high level technical documentation and support a clean handover to the incoming platform team
