Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Deep understanding of authentication and authorization concepts including OAuth JWTs permission models and secure token handling
- Experience designing and securing non-trivial data systems
- Ability to reason about risk trade-offs and real-world constraints
- Track record of shipping real security improvements
- Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j or similar
- Experience with CI/CD and supply-chain security
- Experience with Go or Rust

Day to day
- Design and implement authentication and authorization controls for a large graph-based data platform
- Build and evolve secure OAuth-based flows with robust token handling and permission enforcement
- Audit data flows and privacy controls to reduce security risk and protect sensitive information
- Act as a hands-on security gatekeeper in engineering reviews and drive concrete production improvements
