US Citizenship
Bachelor's Degree and minimum eight (8) years of experience in Privacy policy for a federal organization
Advanced Privacy certifications like CIPP, CIPT, CIPM or equivalent
Experience with U.S. federal government Agency or contractor
Experience assessing risk and advising on organizational controls
Compliance or auditing experience advantageous
Skill in applying government privacy laws, regulations, principles and policies
Skill in conducting analyses of legislation and regulations
Knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act and the Privacy Act
Knowledge of Federal and Agency records management systems
Ability to work with limited supervision
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with FISMA requirements and NIST guidelines, including NIST SP 800-53
Ability to prioritize and manage competing work assignments
Keen attention to detail and ability to solve problems systematically
Desirables
Experience with CDM Dashboard
Experience with SharePoint
Experience with Qlik Sense
Experience with GRC Tools like Telos Xacta IA Manager, CSAM, RSA Archer
What the job involves
Lead teams, tasks, and projects of varying levels of experience with limited supervision
Serve as the subject matter expert on the Agency's National Privacy Program, advising the Agency Privacy Officer and National Privacy Program manager
Develop and maintain strategic plans, policies, procedures, and guidance related to privacy information, ensuring compliance with federal privacy laws and regulations
Advise senior management on privacy-related risks and impacts on mission delivery
Plan, organize, and direct studies, surveys, special projects, and workgroups, setting priorities for the national program
Work with managers and staff across the Agency and with external oversight agencies and federal partners on national privacy initiatives
