Who you are

  • US Citizenship
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum eight (8) years of experience in Privacy policy for a federal organization
  • Advanced Privacy certifications like CIPP, CIPT, CIPM or equivalent
  • Experience with U.S. federal government Agency or contractor
  • Experience assessing risk and advising on organizational controls
  • Compliance or auditing experience advantageous
  • Skill in applying government privacy laws, regulations, principles and policies
  • Skill in conducting analyses of legislation and regulations
  • Knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act and the Privacy Act
  • Knowledge of Federal and Agency records management systems
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with FISMA requirements and NIST guidelines, including NIST SP 800-53
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing work assignments
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to solve problems systematically

  • Experience with CDM Dashboard
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Experience with Qlik Sense
  • Experience with GRC Tools like Telos Xacta IA Manager, CSAM, RSA Archer



What the job involves

  • Lead teams, tasks, and projects of varying levels of experience with limited supervision
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on the Agency's National Privacy Program, advising the Agency Privacy Officer and National Privacy Program manager
  • Develop and maintain strategic plans, policies, procedures, and guidance related to privacy information, ensuring compliance with federal privacy laws and regulations
  • Advise senior management on privacy-related risks and impacts on mission delivery
  • Plan, organize, and direct studies, surveys, special projects, and workgroups, setting priorities for the national program
  • Work with managers and staff across the Agency and with external oversight agencies and federal partners on national privacy initiatives
