Requirements
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum eight (8) years of experience in Privacy policy for a federal organization
- Advanced Privacy certifications like CIPP, CIPT, CIPM or equivalent
- Experience with U.S. federal government Agency or contractor
- Experience assessing risk and advising on organizational controls
- Compliance or auditing experience advantageous
- Skill in applying government privacy laws, regulations, principles and policies
- Skill in conducting analyses of legislation and regulations
- Knowledge of the Freedom of Information Act and the Privacy Act
- Knowledge of Federal and Agency records management systems
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience with FISMA requirements and NIST guidelines, including NIST SP 800-53
- Ability to prioritize and manage competing work assignments
- Keen attention to detail and ability to solve problems systematically
Nice to have
- Experience with CDM Dashboard
- Experience with SharePoint
- Experience with Qlik Sense
- Experience with GRC Tools like Telos Xacta IA Manager, CSAM, RSA Archer
Day to day
- Lead teams, tasks, and projects of varying levels of experience with limited supervision
- Serve as the subject matter expert on the Agency's National Privacy Program, advising the Agency Privacy Officer and National Privacy Program manager
- Develop and maintain strategic plans, policies, procedures, and guidance related to privacy information, ensuring compliance with federal privacy laws and regulations
- Advise senior management on privacy-related risks and impacts on mission delivery
- Plan, organize, and direct studies, surveys, special projects, and workgroups, setting priorities for the national program
- Work with managers and staff across the Agency and with external oversight agencies and federal partners on national privacy initiatives
